We stayed at the hotel in the Gila River Indian Community, in the Sonoran Desert. The Sonoran Desert has been home to two tribes – the Akimel O’odham (Pima), and Pee-Posh (Maricopa). The Gila River Indian Community built a beautiful hotel following architectural laws of the tribes, among which that of having all entrances facing east.
Il ‘pozzo’ Montezuma, una bellissima oasi nel mezzo del deserto.
Oak Creek Canyon, through Sedona, and views of the Valle Verde.
