Femminists, activists, artists and friends Silvia Lana and Ilaria Marchesini welcomed us at their studio for a fun day and fascinating experience surrounded by their art. Thanks for this fun day www.parallellinesart.it
Everything did not go as planned, but it worked out ok. We are safely waiting. A bit unsure if we or the sailboat waiting on the opposite side should go first when the bridge comes up. We asked a passing motorboat of nice fishermen, and they said “whoever goes first, goes first”.
We know it isn’t going to be easy. We will have to moor by some boat or some post (pile) we have spotted the day before, to wait for the bridge to open. The current is not in our favor, and strong. We proceed cautiously. It is a beautiful day and that is very much in our favor.
A little traffic ahead.
Crossing the lagoon and reaching the city canals. Only Massimo and Rinaldo are sharing with us this experience, while Andrew is off to Rimini, camping with several classmates and Giulio, representing their school at the annual meeting of all Libertarian schools in Italy.
